Richmond Indian Motorcycle Riders Group is a local chapter of the National Indian Motorcycle Riders Group. There are no specific residence requirements, although Richmond IMRG roughly encompasses central Virginia.

We are men and women varying in riding experience and styles, and each of us are integral to who we are as a motorcycle riders group. We aim to assemble together without political, religious, or any other divisive focus. Instead, we form a sense of family and a network of support to our fellow riders and the larger motorcycle community. If this appeals to you, we’d love to have you join our community.

    Participate in select rides and activities planned specifically for members.

    First-time, new Indian motorcycle owners may join at no cost. See Requirements below.

  • Membership dues cost $20 per calendar year, per person.

    Membership dues are explicitly earmarked for chapter operational expenses with any remaining dues to be spent on awards or activities.

    All chapter officers must pay membership dues.

    Anyone purchasing their first Indian motorcycle may join the chapter membership program at no cost for the remainder of that calendar year.

    Anyone wanting to join the chapter membership program after July 1st will pay a reduced due of $10 for the remainder of the calendar year.

    Anyone wanting to participate in membership activities must join the chapter by paying membership dues. Exceptions include chapter sponsors and charity representatives.

  • Does a passenger have to register separately as a chapter member to get the Member Benefits?

    Yes

    Do I have to own an Indian motorcycle to become a chapter member?

    No. We welcome all brands of motorcycles and anyone may become a chapter member.
